It’s very important to know who you’ll talk to. It will influence the content of your presentation and it will help you picking the right arguments. It will make you think.

Plan!

If you want a successful presentation, don’t forget the most important thing: plan your presentation in advance. If you are prepared, the others will see and you’ll get their attention

Practice

It’s not enough to plan your presentation. You have to practice in advance. Talk in the mirror, keep reading until you’ll like yourself and your speech. It will even make you more confident.

Talk, don’t read

Let’s assume that your PowerPoint presentation has three slides, with bullets. You don’t need to read every words in the presentation. Think of how to say the same thing with other words. Talk with your audience.

WOW!

You want to make your listeners saying WOW! Try to find killer information. Make the audience say wow! Try doing this at the beginning and you’ll get their attention. When you estimate that people may get bored, try another wow! Think!
